An experienced educator and presenter, Liz is passionate about inspiring and mentoring people interested in tourism, hospitality and events. Whether it be as a guest lecturer or corporate speaker or workshop facilitator, Liz brings extensive knowledge to this dynamic area.
FORMAL TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
Vocational and Higher Education level experience delivering multimodal teaching (face-to-face, online and blended) specialising in a variety of tourism, event and marketing subjects.
- Cornwall College (validated by the University of Plymouth), United Kingdom – leading vocational programs for Levels 1,2 and 3 Tourism, and the university level Foundation Degrees in Tourism and Event Management. Specialist teaching areas are:
- Tourism: tourism management, sustainable tourism, public sector tourism, education and interpretation in tourism, customer service.
- Event Management: introduction to events, conference management, experiential design, sustainable event planning, financial management.
- Academic Development: the quality assurance and introduction to sessional teaching.
